Only thing I didnt understand, is how she didnt get stabbed at the end of the movie. Why is nobody talking about Ana de Armas? She"s so beautiful. Chris Stuckman: This movie is so clever. Jeremy Jahns: This movie isn"t as clever as Rian Johnson thinks it is.

 

Here for Katherine, love her. I went into the cinema not expecting to see a great movie, I didn"t want Daniel Craig to have an American accent. However I accent didn"t bother me after a few mins and the story line was alright. I found myself solving it along with the film. I would say the film is quite predicable with its red herrings but I liked the "unexpected twist" I put it in quotations because the movie was a but slow at revealing what we already work out.)
I don"t want to be to critical because I did actually enjoy it and did find myself laughing quite alot throughout.
All in all I would recommend. Michael Shannon. Shape of water. Enough said. Went to see this tonight without knowing a thing about it. The loaded cast was a surprise. The humor was a surprise. Really enjoyed it.

Oh she played as Sabine in that Mr. Bean movie, i thought i seen her face somewhere... Food harbor story is a lie... lol. One of the best movies hands down acting superb. As a fan of Agatha Christis novels as well as TV shows from the 90s such as Columbo, I can say I was pretty surprised by how good this movie was. I cannot remember seeing anything close to the Whodunnit stories I have read/seen back in the day. But Knives Out takes the cake, today. Along with a fun performance by a remarkable cast of A listers, Rian Johnson delivered a coherent and entertaining story for the genre, even taking it one step further - without getting into any spoilers.
I judge a whodunnit movie on my capability to guess who the murderer is. The easiest it is to guess, the weakest the story. In that case, I was blown away by how the truth unfolded in such a surprising yet organic way. It just worked.
I would recommend this movie for anyone really. It is fun, enjoyable and interesting. In a way it uses its characters to reflect various human flaws such as greed and pride, and uses the non linear narration to construct a consistent and convincing product.

I watched this today, i recommend it had everyone laughing through the whole movie. Finally an original film since i have a girl with down syndrome who loves drama, i am so taking her to the movies...
